You'll need to find your specific mail server address by going to http://mail.{domain-name} in your browser. This will then automatically navigate to your specific mail server address eg. bl4n1.zadns.co.za, bl4n2.zadns.co.za, bl4n3.zadns.co.za or bl4n4.zadns.co.za etc.

Choose IMAP as the incoming mail option for receiving mail.

Log into SmarterMail from http://mail.{domain-name}
Smartermail provides the functionality to retrieve lost passwords via the web interface (webmail).
In order to retrieve a lost password you will first need to setup a backup email address.
Below are the steps outlined to complete the setup of a backup email address for your mail account.
Setup your recovery email address in Smartermail
1. Open SmarterMail in your browser via http://mail.<domainname>
2. Login using your email address and current password.
3. Navigate to Settings in the top navigation bar.
4. The Account Settings page should open.
5. Enter your chosen email address in the recovery email address field under User.
6. Click on Save.
Reset your password in SmarterMail
1. Open SmarterMail in your browser via http://mail.<domainname>
2. Click on 'Forgot your password?'.
3. Enter the email address that you want to recover the password for.
4. Enter special characters indicated as 'Captcha Text' and click on 'OK'.
5. An email will be sent to your backup email address.
6. Open the email subject 'SmarterMail Password Reset'.
7. Click the link contained in the email to reset your password.

Change your password in SmarterMail
1. Open SmarterMail in your browser via http://mail.<domainname>
2. Login using your email address and current password.
3. Navigate to Settings in the top navigation bar.
4. The Account Settings page should open.
5. Click on Change Password.
6. Enter a new password.
7. Confirm the new password.
8. Enter a Recovery email address to help you recover your password if you lose it.
9. Click on Save.
Create a new email address in SmarterMail
1. Open SmarterMail in your browser via http://mail.<domainname>
2. Log into your admin@<domainname> mailbox.
3. Click on Domain Settings in the top navigation bar.
4. Navigate to the Accounts section.
5. Click on New.
6. Enter the details of the email address you wish to create.
7. Click Save.
Enable Autoresponder in SmarterMail
1. Open SmarterMail in your browser via http://mail.<domainname>
2. Login using your email address and password.
3. Navigate to Settings in the top navigation bar.
4. Click on Autoresponder.
5. Tick the Enable auto-responder switch.
6. Enter a Subject for the response.
7. Specify a Start and End date and time.
8. Enter a message for the response.
9. Click on Save.
Override spam settings via SmarterMail
1. Open SmarterMail in your browser via http://mail.<domainname>
2. Login with the Admin account.
3. Navigate to Settings in the top navigation bar.
4. Navigate to Domain Settings > Filtering > Spam Filtering.
5. Select Override spam settings for this domain.
6. Select Users can override domain actions.
7. Select each probability level of spam to specify action.
8. Ensure all Actions are set to 'No Action'.
9. Click Save.
