What is EIT?

PwC's Enterprise Insights Technology offers executives insight into their business processes and systems activities by analysing transactional and master data, user access security, and system configurations, helping address critical areas that may add risk and cost to a business. In addition to intelligent analytics tailored to business needs and industry, Enterprise Insights Technology includes workflow, reporting, visualisation, and issues and document management. EIT is an analytical tool which outputs data and reports, based on the business requirement to analyse and gain insight. EIT does this by using a library of tools, which is able to give data reports to people directly through installation and intranet or online.

EIT uses data importing by connecting the local ERP and then generating an extraction script which, in short, links to the clients profile and outputs the relevant data. The product's creation is driven by the need for analytics in the financial and security industry and is filled with a large library of analytical tools which are not generic so as to be more focused and specific to these industries’ needs.

What is BeingIT®’s involvement?

EIT is being developed by a global team of experts and we are developing the core of the system as well as the user interface, that allow EIT to run and utilise its reports. The EIT product will be accessible world-wide on completion and is an extremely powerful tool in the financial and security industry. The reporting output is comprised of interactive dashboards are provided via visual packages which include summaries, detail, trends and comparisons.

How is EIT put together?

The system can be run in the cloud or locally, and has been created using the best C# .NET practices. Languages like Python and HTML have also been used to create this product as well as use of JavaScript and CSS in the project’s portal. The system has been built with a focus on functionality rather that aesthetic appeal, but proves durable and hard working all the same.
